DAY 1 h Upon your arrival in Livingstone you will be met by a
representative and transferred to your vehicle for a guided
tour of the spectacular Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya: the
smoke that thunders. One of the Seven Natural Wonders of
the World, it is the largest curtain of water in the world at
1708 metres wide and 103 metres high. From here transfer
back to The River Club, your home for the night and nestled
right beside the magnificent Zambezi River.
DAY 2 hToday leave Zambia and transfer to Botswana and
the Chobe National Park. Here you will enjoy a boat trip
along the river where you can enjoy a light lunch as well
as spotting hippos, crocodiles and diverse birdlife. You will
then transfer by light aircraft to the Linyanti Region and
your Linyanti Adventurer Camp.
DAY 3 h Spend the next two nights at the Linyanti
Adventurer Camp, styled like an explorer camp of old with
dome tents, camp fires and hurricane lamps but with flush
toilets and shower bringing it up to date. The Linyanti is
famed for its myriad of changing landscapes including
riverine, savannah, forest and plains. The regions perennial
waters attract vast herds of wildlife with predators following
close behind combining with the array of landscapes to
create an exciting game viewing environment.
DAY 5 h After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your
light aircraft flight to Khwai Adventurer Camp a private
concession area on the Khwai channel above the Moremi
Game Reserve and home to the likes of wild dog, leopard,
lion, antelope, giraffe and zebra. Relax at camp and enjoy
game drives during the day and night, mokoro excursions,
nature walks and a spot of bird watching.
DAY 8 hTransfer to the airstrip for your flight to Xigera
Mokoro Adventurer Camp and enjoy some of the Delta’s
best mokoro experiences. Surrounded by channels and
islands, be gently punted along by your guide who will
point out the diverse species of flora and fauna as you glide
serenely along. Nestled on its own island the camp offers
an authentic taste of Botswana allowing you to enjoy all the
beautiful area has to offer.
DAY 10 h After breakfast you’ll transfer to the airstrip for
you flight back to Maun and your onward journey.
