DAY 1 h On arrival in Johannesburg connect with your flight
to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango, from where you take
a light aircraft flight and short road transfer to Sanctuary
Stanley’s Camp, your home for three nights. Set under
ebony and sausage trees this classic camp of just eight
tents is secluded amidst a 260,000 acre private concession.
Each tent has hand crafted wooden furniture, en suite
bathrooms and is on a raised deck with private terrace
overlooking the bush. The main building has an intimate
atmosphere and game viewing here is amongst the best in
the Delta with game drives by day and night, plus viewing
by mokoro canoe or on foot (seasonal and dependent on
water levels). You can also enjoy an optional elephant
interaction walking orphaned elephants in the bush.
DAY 4 h This morning, enjoy a game activity before you fly
to Kasane airport from where you transfer to Sanctuary
Chobe Chilwero Lodge for two nights. On the National
Park border, the exquisite Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero
enjoys unequalled views of the mighty Chobe River, flood
plains, islands and as far as Namibia. The 15 cottages are
individually designed each with air-conditioning, fan and
mosquito nets. The bathrooms offer a large freestanding
bath, indoor and outdoor showers, while the main lodge
houses a lounge, restaurant, viewing decks, Africology spa
and swimming pool.
Open vehicle game drives, water safaris on specially
adapted motor boats, sundowners on the river and the high
standards of the lodge make this the perfect conclusion to
your Botswana adventure.
DAY 6 h Transfer by ferry crossing and by road to
Livingstone airport, Zambia, for your onward journey.
