DAY 1 h On arrival in Johannesburg connect with your flight<br />
to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango, from where you take<br />
a light aircraft flight and short road transfer to Sanctuary<br />
Stanley’s Camp, your home for three nights. Set under<br />
ebony and sausage trees this classic camp of just eight<br />
tents is secluded amidst a 260,000 acre private concession.<br />
Each tent has hand crafted wooden furniture, en suite<br />
bathrooms and is on a raised deck with private terrace<br />
overlooking the bush. The main building has an intimate<br />
atmosphere and game viewing here is amongst the best in<br />
the Delta with game drives by day and night, plus viewing<br />
by mokoro canoe or on foot (seasonal and dependent on<br />
water levels). You can also enjoy an optional elephant<br />
interaction walking orphaned elephants in the bush.<br />
DAY 4 h This morning, enjoy a game activity before you fly<br />
to Kasane airport from where you transfer to Sanctuary<br />
Chobe Chilwero Lodge for two nights. On the National<br />
Park border, the exquisite Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero<br />
enjoys unequalled views of the mighty Chobe River, flood<br />
plains, islands and as far as Namibia. The 15 cottages are<br />
individually designed each with air-conditioning, fan and<br />
mosquito nets. The bathrooms offer a large freestanding<br />
bath, indoor and outdoor showers, while the main lodge<br />
houses a lounge, restaurant, viewing decks, Africology spa<br />
and swimming pool.<br />
Open vehicle game drives, water safaris on specially<br />
adapted motor boats, sundowners on the river and the high<br />
standards of the lodge make this the perfect conclusion to<br />
your Botswana adventure.<br />
DAY 6 h Transfer by ferry crossing and by road to<br />
Livingstone airport, Zambia, for your onward journey.<br />
