A beautiful reserve, whose name is ‘lion’ in Shangaan, this deluxe lodge
also has a small tented camp and offers superb service and comfort in a vast
wildlife rich wilderness.
Location h On 14,700 hectares of Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga Province,
enjoying exclusive rights to thousands of acres of wilderness abundant in wildlife.
20 minutes flight or a one hour drive from Hoedspruit airport. Features h There’s a
thatched sitting, bar and dining area with open fireplaces, swimming pool and
sundecks overlooking a busy waterhole. The exclusive tented camp offers a luxury
bush experience on the seasonal Timbavati river banks, with dining room and lap pool.
Pan African cuisine is served on viewing decks or poolside. Accommodation h 20
chalet-style rooms with air-conditioning, bath and shower. The Safari Suite has a
sitting room, private deck, swimming pool and butler service (on request). Each of
the six tents at the tented camp has air-conditioning, ceiling fan and indoor and
outdoor showers. NB h Children under six years not allowed on game drives, children
between seven and 11 years are allowed on game drives at the lodge manager’s
