With its glorious climate and rich, fertile soils, South
Africa’s Cape Winelands is renowned worldwide for
its local produce, created in beautiful surroundings.
DAY 1 h Collect (or have delivered at extra cost) your
Europcar Group B vehicle. Enjoy a scenic 45 minute
drive to the town of Stellenbosch in the Winelands
region, staying two nights at Labri Manor (Three Star
option), River Manor (Four Star option) or Lanzerac
Hotel & Spa (Five Star option).
Enjoy a walk in the historic town of Stellenbosch
with its broad streets shaded by tall oaks. Be sure to
visit Oom Samie se Winkel (Uncle Sammy’s Shop) in
Dorp Street, which sells a marvellous variety of items
ranging from traditional home preserves to curios.
DAY 3 h Return your rental car at Cape Town airport
before your onward flight, or choose to extend your
stay. Ask our sales team to assist you in tailor making
your perfect holiday.
DAY 2 h Explore the Cape Winelands at your own
pace. Visit Boschendal Wine Estate for a cellar tour
and a wine tasting – sample five wines, followed by
a short cellar tour where a representative of the farm
will explain to you the history of the estate.

Pass the gloriously scenic Winelands en route to
Hermanus, South Africa’s whale watching capital,
and spend time at one with nature enjoying the
natural surroundings.
DAY 1 h Collect (or have delivered at extra cost) your
Europcar Group B vehicle. Drive through the fertile
Winelands, perhaps stopping to visit one of the many
wine estates in the region before arriving at the
whale watching capital of Hermanus. Stay for two
nights at Abalone Guest Lodge (Three Star option), or
either The Marine or Grootbos Nature Reserve (Five
Star options).
DAY 2 h Take time to explore the region at your
own pace. During the whale season (approx. June -
November), consider embarking on a whale watching
cruise (weather permitting, extra cost). Alternatively,
if staying at the Grootbos Private Nature Reserve
explore on a guided walk or horse ride.
DAY 3 h Return your rental vehicle at Cape Town
airport before your onward journey. Alternatively,
extend your stay in the area.

DAY 1 h Fly from Johannesburg to Vilanculos and on
arrival, travel by minibus to Vilanculos harbour and
board a boat to Marlin Lodge, a luxury beach chalet
and your base for the next four nights. Enjoy
welcome refreshments and spend the rest of the
afternoon at leisure before dinner.
