1.Purpose and scope: 

To ensure proper and acceptable dressing by all Radiology Department Staff in line with the 

general Dubai Hospital Dress Code as well as those applicable to the Radiology Department as 

defined in this policy.

Procedure sequence 

4.1 Radiology Department Dress Code 

Responsibilities 

4.1.1: All Staff of the Radiology Department are required to dress in line with 

the Hospital — Wide Dress Code. 

4.1.2: All Professional Staff must wear their white lab coat at all times while 

on duty. 

4.1.3: All Support Staff must wear their assigned uniforms during official 

working hours.

4.1.4: The Administrative Staff should adhere strictly to the general Hospital — 

wide dress code. 

4.1.5: Staff badges must be worn at all times while on duty 

NOTE: Jeans should not be worn by professional or 

administrative staff to WORK 

4.2 Dress Code in Theatre, ICU and CCU All Radiology

4.2.1: Radiographers must wear appropriate clothing while 

performing their duties in various areas of the Hospital: 

personnel 

Protective and sterile gowns, caps and face- masks MUST be worn while 

operating equipment in the isolation wards. 

Relevant dress codes MUST be obeyed while working in CCU and ICU. 

Relevant dress codes, scrub gown, theater caps and shoes MUST be worn 

while performing Image intensifier procedures in Operating Theatres.
