2. Adjust the<br />
paper side<br />
guides<br />
• Move the two paper side guides apart.<br />
• Put in one medium in the desired position.<br />
• Position the paper feed ramp in the middle of the two side guides.<br />
• Push the side guides back towards the medium.<br />
• The side guides should be close to the medium so that it cannot<br />
run askew when it is pulled into the printer. The side guides should<br />
not clamp the medium.<br />
• When using very narrow media, you can turn one paper side guide<br />
by 180° (see Figure 10).<br />

Larger materials<br />
The optional available paper side guides for larger<br />
materials make the feeding of these materials more<br />
comfortable. Please see chapter 9.2 cessoires, on<br />
page 126 for further information.<br />
