Key Implications for Exploration<br />

• Host rock composition imposes an important control on <strong>the</strong> structural<br />

style, texture, mineralogy, <strong>and</strong> pathfinder elements related to gold<br />

mineralization.<br />

• The distribution <strong>of</strong> mineralization is controlled by pre- <strong>and</strong> syn-mineral<br />

faults; <strong>the</strong> mineral <strong>and</strong> chemical “footprint” <strong>of</strong> mineralization is narrow.<br />

• The <strong><strong>Gold</strong>en</strong> <strong>Saddle</strong> deposit is located at an uncommon intersection<br />

<strong>of</strong> several geological <strong>and</strong> structural features; similar intersections are<br />

likely prospective.
