And, he’s a 3.7 student.” Calling the signals behind the offensive line will be senior quarterback Dylan Gibson, who will make his debut as starter this season. He’ll be replacing three-year starter Dwight Barker, and he won’t have leading receiver Desharick Guidry to throw to this season. Harrison said it’s Delahoussye’s time to shine as a slot receiver, which would help Gibson settle into his role. "We expect [Delahoussye] to come into his own this season," Harrison said. The Gators drop back down to Class 4A this year after a two-year stint in Class 5A. Once the season starts, footballs will be in the air too as the Gators switch to a passing attack after losing its three running backs from last season, all of whom signed with Division I college programs. The offense is being redesigned to fit the talent at hand, which includes a bevy of receiving options. “You always want to put your best athletes on the field, and this year we have a lot of guys in the 6-1, 6-2, 6-3 range,” said LaGrange coach Jules Sullen. “We are going to have a lot of three-receiver sets, some empty backfields.
