Monitoring Committee meetings to present the HerO project work and progress<br />

5. Developing and implementing communication on and dissemination<br />

of project’s activities and outputs<br />

Results: Availability of comprehensive information on the HerO project, its objectives<br />

and outputs for different target groups; fostering exchange by disseminating<br />

new approaches and innovative strategies for the sustainable development of the<br />

historic urban landscape.<br />

HerO Project Presentation Brochure (in 10 languages)<br />

HerO Flyer/postcard (in 10 languages)<br />

6 HerO Newsletters to inform interested subscribers on the HerO project work<br />

and progress and to stay in touch and exchange with more than 30 European<br />

cities which were interested in becoming partner to the HerO network<br />

Final HerO Brochure (in 10 languages) to disseminate the project’s results<br />

HerO project website (updated regularly)<br />

10 compilations of press and media articles<br />

6. Integrated historic urban landscape management systems<br />

Results: Balanced and coordinated demands and interests on historic urban landscapes<br />

to facilitate an integrated, sustainable, future-oriented urban development<br />

in the HerO partner cities; dissemination of the project’s results with regard to<br />

their influence on future funding programmes, policies and the sustainable management<br />

of other historic towns in Europe and beyond.<br />

Concrete outputs:<br />

1 Strategy paper on the topic “Support of historic urban landscapes via EU<br />

structural funds”to serve as a basis for discussion for the next funding period<br />

1 Guideline/ guidebookon the topic “Development and implementation of inte-<br />
