Airbrush Techniques
w/Joe Fleming
From Joe: “I will be demonstrating airbrush techniques. I will talk
about paint and dye selection, air brush cleaning, and how to transition
from oil to alcohol to water-based materials. I’ll show some practice
techniques to develop your own air brush skills. We will explore some
painting techniques like how to do masking, how to do shading, and
how to blend colors.”
As many of you read in these pages ia month or so ago, Joe hosted a
two day airbrushing class at his shop for club members. I found this
class (and the information presented) fascinating and enlightening.
I’ve included some examples of work (mine, Joe’s, and others from the
class) below. Don’t miss this program. It could very well be one od
those “ah-ha” moments in your wood turning.
