WELCOME
We are delighted to invite you to participate in OCS' 2011 in Marseille, France, on September 5-8, 2011. The objective
of OCS 2011 is to provide a forum for researchers, educators, engineers, and government officials involved in the general
areas of Optical Complex Systems to exchange views on the future research directions of this field. OCS 2011 will continue
the excellent tradition of gathering world-class scientists, engineers and educators engaged in the fields of optical
complex systems to meet and present their latest activities.
With a highlighted focus on scientific and engineering challenges in modeling, plasmonics materials, biophotonics optics
and complex systems, OCS'2011 has invited outstanding keynote speakers (Prof. Alexei A. Maradudin, Dr. Vasilis
Ntziachristos, Dr. Alexander V. Kildishev, Prof. Alexander B. Shvartsburg, Prof. Cheng-Chung Lee...) in four areas in which
photonic technologies are applied to innovate and enhance the future:
• Biophotonics and biomedical optics,
•Photonics for safety, security and environment,
•Quantum communication and processing,
•Optical systems for sciences of the universe.
It will offer you huge opportunities for tacking the most useful information and potential collaborations through the
