If the diameter of the button is
more than 2.5 cm (1˝), a
buttonhole must be made
manually as follows:
q Turn the handwheel toward you to raise
the needle to its highest position. Raise
the presser foot lifter.
w Set the pattern indicator at “BH” by
turning the pattern selector dial.
e Attach the buttonhole foot (B).
r Pull the buttonhole lever downward as far
as it will go.
t Lower the needle info the garment where
the buttonhole is to start, and lower the
foot.
