Upon graduating, students have the option of taking a one-year MBA
with Sustainable Living emphasis. Requisite undergraduate courses
are needed for this option.

Maharishi University in Fairfield is establishing itself as a leader
in sustainable living architecture among Iowa’s institutions of
higher learning. The university will use environmentally friendly
construction techniques. One building will create all of its own
electricity by solar, wind and geothermal activity.

Sustainable Living program. Projects range from topics
like the life-cycle of liverworts to reducing the City of
Fairfield’s energy bill. In a Permaculture Design course we
redesigned the Fairfield City Square.

because of the emphasis each class puts on using the full creative potential
