This division deals with eGovernment and <strong>the</strong> application <strong>of</strong> information<br />

technology including ICT infrastructure policies and services, ICT Vote Control<br />

and IT systems development<br />

Public Service Reform and Delivery Division<br />

Responsibilities<br />

This division is responsible for driving overall Public Service Reform. It reports on<br />

<strong>the</strong> integrated plans for all departments and major <strong>of</strong>fices. It drives a whole set <strong>of</strong><br />

cross cutting reforms agreed by Government, It also has specific responsibilities<br />

for business consulting; organisational review programme; baselining public<br />

service reform and delivery programme <strong>of</strong>fice; cabinet committee and substructures;<br />

communications; and shared services policy.<br />

Responsibilities<br />

This unit deals with <strong>the</strong> Government reform agenda; freedom <strong>of</strong> information policy;<br />

civil service codes <strong>of</strong> standard and behaviour; and Whistleblowing.<br />

Civil Service Human Resources Directorate<br />

Responsibilities<br />

This directorate is responsible for <strong>the</strong> development and implementation <strong>of</strong> HR<br />

policies in <strong>the</strong> civil service including workforce planning encompassing <strong>the</strong><br />

workforce planning framework and policies on recruitment; promotion; mobility;<br />

secondment, redeployment and decentralisation. The Directorate is also<br />

responsible for performance management including policy on induction;<br />

probation; PMDS and underperformance. It also deals with <strong>the</strong> Senior Public<br />

Service, policy on equality and diversity; <strong>the</strong> establishment <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Civil Service<br />
