4.20.6 all payments due to the financial expert are on a scale or at a level which is<br />

agreed in advance and are notified promptly to the Trustees on receipt;<br />

4.20.7 the financial expert must not do anything outside the powers <strong>of</strong> the Trustees.<br />

4.21 To arrange for investments or other property <strong>of</strong> the Charity to be held in the name <strong>of</strong> a<br />

nominee (being a corporate body registered or having an established place <strong>of</strong> business<br />

in England and Wales) under the control <strong>of</strong> the Trustees or <strong>of</strong> a financial expert acting<br />

under their instructions and to pay any reasonable fee required.<br />

4.22 To insure the property <strong>of</strong> the Charity against any foreseeable risk and take out other<br />

insurance policies to protect the Charity when required.<br />

4.23 To insure the Trustees against the costs <strong>of</strong> a successful defence to a criminal<br />

prosecution brought against them as charity trustees or against personal liability<br />

incurred in respect <strong>of</strong> any act or omission which is or is alleged to be a breach <strong>of</strong> trust<br />

or breach <strong>of</strong> duty, unless the Trustee concerned knew that, or was reckless whether,<br />

the act or omission was a breach <strong>of</strong> trust or breach <strong>of</strong> duty.<br />

4.24 Subject to clause 5, to employ paid or unpaid agents, staff or advisers.<br />

4.25 To enter into any arrangement and co-operate with any governments or authorities<br />

(supreme, federal, municipal, local or otherwise) or any corporations, companies or<br />

persons that may seem conducive to the Charity’s objects or any <strong>of</strong> them, and to<br />

obtain from any such government, authority, corporation, company or person any<br />

charters, contracts, decrees, rights, privileges and concessions which the Charity may<br />

think desirable for the achievement <strong>of</strong> its objects and to carry out, exercise and<br />

comply with any such charters, contracts, decrees, rights, privileges and concessions.<br />

4.26 To arrange, form or concur in arranging for the incorporation or acquisition (in any<br />

part <strong>of</strong> the world) <strong>of</strong> any limited or other company or companies and power to transfer<br />

pay or lend the whole or any part <strong>of</strong> the property <strong>of</strong> the Charity to any company or<br />

corporation (which is wholly beneficially owned and controlled by the Charity) in<br />

consideration <strong>of</strong> cash or shares stock or securities <strong>of</strong> the company or corporation or<br />

for such other consideration whatsoever as the Charity shall think fit and to establish<br />

subsidiary companies to assist or act as agents for the Charity.<br />

4.27 To give financial support, either by means <strong>of</strong> payments under covenant or other<br />

agreement, or in such other manner as may be deemed expedient, to any charitable<br />

organisation or organisations whether corporate or unincorporate wheresoever situate<br />

(notwithstanding that it may be a member <strong>of</strong> the Charity) concerned with the<br />

furtherance <strong>of</strong> all or any <strong>of</strong> the objects <strong>of</strong> the Charity.<br />

4.28 To pay the costs <strong>of</strong> forming the Charity.<br />

4.29 To procure the Charity to be registered or recognised in any part <strong>of</strong> the world.<br />

4.30 To do anything else within the law which promotes or helps to promote the Objects.<br />

4.31 To provide advice and information to the public, educational establishments,<br />

government departments, local government and other public, voluntary and charitable<br />

bodies on environmental, economic, safety and mobility issues arising from the use <strong>of</strong><br />

automobiles.
