<strong>FIA</strong> FOUNDATION FOR THE AUTOMOBILE AND SOCIETY<br />
1. NAME<br />
The name <strong>of</strong> the Company is “<strong>FIA</strong> <strong>Foundation</strong> for the Automobile and Society” ("the<br />
Charity")<br />
2. REGISTERED OFFICE<br />
The registered <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the Charity is to be in England and Wales.<br />
3. OBJECTS<br />
The objects <strong>of</strong> the Charity (“the Objects”) are for the promotion <strong>of</strong> public<br />
safety and public health, for the protection and preservation <strong>of</strong> human life<br />
and for the conservation, protection and improvement <strong>of</strong> the physical and<br />
natural environment in particular by:<br />
a)<br />
b)<br />
promoting research, disseminating the results <strong>of</strong> research and providing<br />
information in any matters <strong>of</strong> public interest which may include road safety,<br />
automobile technology, the protection and preservation <strong>of</strong> human life and<br />
public health, transport and public mobility and the protection <strong>of</strong> the environment;<br />
and<br />
promoting improvement in the safety <strong>of</strong> motor sport, and <strong>of</strong> drivers,<br />
passengers, pedestrians and other road users.<br />
4. POWERS<br />
The Charity has the following powers, which may be exercised only in promoting the<br />
Objects:<br />
4.1 To promote the sustainable mobility <strong>of</strong> the public;<br />
4.2 To promote or conduct educational activities that improve driver safety skills;<br />
4.3 To provide for the protection <strong>of</strong> participants, <strong>of</strong>ficials and members <strong>of</strong> the public at<br />
motor sport events;
