Wages, salaries, remuneration <strong>and</strong> pensions, etc. for the <strong>Group</strong> <strong>and</strong> the Parent Company include remuneration<br />

paid to the Executive Board of the Parent Company of DKK 17 million (1998/99: DKK 12 million) <strong>and</strong> to the<br />

Board of Directors of DKK 3 million (1998/99: DKK 3 million).<br />

In the financial year, the average number of employees in the Parent Company was 1,749 (1998/99: 2,799)<br />

<strong>and</strong> in the <strong>Group</strong> 23,641 (1998/99: 21,906) of whom 1,506 (1998/99: 2,355) were employed in pro rata<br />

consolidated companies.<br />

The information stated above regarding wages, salaries <strong>and</strong> personnel costs in the Parent Company was affected<br />

by the establishment of <strong>Carlsberg</strong> Breweries on 1 July <strong>2000</strong>.<br />
