Group fitness
goals monitored
with FitLinxx
> A club in The Netherlands
is the first to use
the FitLinxx computerised
fitness programming system
to monitor the goals
and achievements of the
participants of its group
fitness classes.
Trivium Sport in
Etten-Leur, a member
of the WellPro group
of independent clubs,
launched the initiative
in October. All the participants
of the classes are
registered using the
FitLinxx system and all
their exercise is recorded—
their gym-based programmes
as well as any
activities they do outside
the club.
“In addition to the
pleasure of attending
group fitness classes,
our members can now
receive personal attention
through FitLinxx,” says
Miranda Pertijs of Trivium
Sport. “By professionalising
our systems and
recording all the activities
of our members, we are
able to give them more
support and achieve
greater retention.”
“Trivium Sport is the
first club in the world
which will use FitLinxx in
group lessons,” says Peter
Wolfhagen, general manager,
FitLinxx Benelux.
