An art joke
A painter had an exhibition at a gallery. After
some time he asked the gallery owner if anyone
had shown any interest in any of his paintings.
‘I have some good news and some bad news,’
the gallery owner replied. ‘A man came in and
enquired about your work and wondered if it
would increase in value after your death. I told
him I thought it would and he bought all 25 of
your paintings.’ ‘That’s fantastic!’ the artist
cried. ‘What’s the bad news’
‘I’m afraid he was your doctor.’
