Preparation derived from proanthocyanidic tannins derived from grapes and ellagic tannins from oak, using LAFFORT’s
instant dissolving process (IDP), to be used during red wine maturation
SPECIFICATIONS
After the fermentation phase or during maturation, TAN’COR GRAND CRU® is used to:
• Enhance and modify the wine’s structure and palate length.
• Stabilise colour by combining the remaining free anthocyanins.
• Regulating oxidation-reduction phenomena.
OENOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS
• In the case of tannin imbalance, TAN’COR GRAND CRU® acts uniformly, complementingthe whole of length on the
palate.
• To prepare wine for maturation in barrels.
• Preceding micro-oxygenation.
PROTOCOL FOR USE
DOSAGE
• Ageing and structural augmentation:
STORAGE
5 to 30 g/hL.
• Protection of wine and stabilising colour: 20 to 30 g/hL.
IMPLEMENTATION
During the first wine racking, after malo-lactic fermentation or at any stage of maturation.
Thanks to the IDP procedure, TAN’COR GRAND CRU® can be sprinkled directly onto the wine during homogenisation or
a pump-over.
After TAN’COR GRAND CRU® has been added, it is recommended to carry out normal rackings until bottling preparation.
It is recommended to add TAN’COR GRAND CRU® at least two weeks before bottling.
Store in the original, unopened packaging and use within
specified “use by” date.

Oenological Use

Preparation : The IDP (Instant Dissolving Process) used in TAN’COR® GRAND CRU production
allows for complete dissolution of TAN’COR® GRAND CRU when sprinkled directly in wine during
a homogenizing pump-over.

Storage & Optimal Date of Use
- Store in original packaging at room temperature (0 to 22° C) in a dry and odourless room.
- Optimal date of use: 4 years after packing date.
4 months after opening (if the bag is properly sealed).

Eliminate the preparation immediately. Avoid the formation of dust. Remove the product with mechanical equipment,
preferentially a vacuum cleaner with a high efficiency filter. Dilute the product abundantly with water, avoiding splashes and
aerosols. Ventilate. Clean the contaminated clothes.

Technical measures: Avoid the formation of dust and splashes. Take appropriate precautions for
handling dusts. Avoid sharp edges and surfaces near packaging.

The product, as sold, is a natural plant extract mainly composed of hydrolysable or condensed tannins. Non-vegetable additives
are present at a concentration of 0.5 % each. The product is biodegradable. No accumulation in the soil. No toxicity in an aquatic
medium below a concentration of 2%. Classified as a non-pollutant product for the t
environment.

Waste disposal methods: This product has a high Chemical Demand in Oxygen and it should be strongly diluted with water before
evacuating it into an appropriate drain or creek. Check additional relevant methods of disposal if there have been any other
external pollutants added to the solution
