Attendance isn’t a formal part of the grade. However, given the nature of the class structure, it is
important that you attend and contribute to the class. To encourage and reward your active
participation in the class, participation points will be recorded on a regular basis. This will make
up approximately 10% of your grade.
Be on time and attend each class. No participation points will be given to individuals who
show up late to class. There are no “makeups” for missed work. If you walk in late and a
quiz has been handed out, you lose that time to take the quiz.
