The AAP Experience is the face of pediatrics and introduces the latest and greatest best practices in over 60 content areas from Academy speakers in a variety of hands-on, interactive formats, all with mobileaccessible resources. There are plenty of non-CME learning stations on the exhibit fl oor including product theaters, meet the faculty events, book signings, and demonstrations of products, services, simulators and many other exciting technologies. This multi-faceted experience offers an array of unique social and networking events, awards, as well as philanthropic and advocacy opportunities. We’re family-friendly and affordable offering low-cost family registration and activities including a pre-conference kids’ camp and welcome reception, fabulous tour programs, on-site child care and a nursing mother’s lounge. Combined Pediatric Residency Program of LSU New Orleans and LSU Shreveport Play along with Louisiana’s pediatric residency programs competing in the Pediatric Bowl. Who Dat They’re the famed facilitators of fun! Watch Lewis First, Editor of Pediatrics, Marshall Land, American Board of Pediatrics, and William Gerson, University of Vermont College of Medicine challenge the rising stars of pediatrics. 2003 Defending Champions, Bonnie Desselle and Paul Cooper and their “Tchoupitoulas Tigers” from Louisiana State University verse Todd Washko and his “Gris-gris Green Waves” from Tulane University and newcomers Alston Dunbar and his “Cajun Krewe” from Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital Baton Rouge.
