New 911 Building Addresses<br />

The Monroe County Control Center has been working on a project for the last several years to assign unique addresses to every building<br />

in the county for 911 emergency call purposes. ESU has now received the new 911 addresses for all university buildings. The following<br />

building list shows the new 911 addresses for all university buildings. Please note that this will not affect the university’s official mailing<br />

address.<br />

These 911 addresses are effective July 2012 for all 911 emergency response purposes. Anyone who makes a 911 emergency call should<br />

report the building name and 911 building address on the attached building list. Please review the attached building list and keep the 911<br />

address that is pertinent to your location handy in the event of any emergent situations that will require you to call 911.<br />

ESU’s official mailing address will not change. All university mail should continue to be addressed to: <strong>East</strong> <strong>Stroudsburg</strong> <strong>University</strong>, 200<br />

Prospect Street, <strong>East</strong> <strong>Stroudsburg</strong>, PA 18301-2999. Please note: It is important to use the full zip code “18301-2999” as this assists and<br />

expedites the U.S. Postal Service in sorting the mail.<br />
