APPENDIX A -- SCORING<br />

A1<br />

The rules of Appendix A are deleted and replaced by:<br />

On Standard Offshore Speed Courses, <strong>the</strong> speeds of a<br />

board’s fastest two runs in a round shall be averaged to<br />

determine her standing in that round. The board with <strong>the</strong><br />

highest average wins and o<strong>the</strong>rs shall be ranked<br />

accordingly. If boards are tied, <strong>the</strong> tie shall be broken in<br />

favour of <strong>the</strong> board with <strong>the</strong> fastest run in <strong>the</strong> round.<br />

On Speed Crossings and Alpha Speed Courses, boards<br />

shall be ranked based on <strong>the</strong>ir fastest run in <strong>the</strong> round.<br />

If <strong>the</strong>re is a series-score tie between two or more boards,<br />

it shall be broken in favour of <strong>the</strong> board(s) with <strong>the</strong><br />

fastest run during <strong>the</strong> competition. If a tie remains, it<br />

shall be broken by applying rules A8.2(b) and (c) in rule<br />

B8.<br />
