38 REGISTRATION; COURSE AREA; HEAT DURATION;<br />

ADVANCEMENT AND BYES<br />

Add new rule 38:<br />

(a) Boards shall register with <strong>the</strong> race committee <strong>the</strong> colours<br />

and o<strong>the</strong>r particulars of <strong>the</strong>ir sails, or <strong>the</strong>ir identification<br />

according to ano<strong>the</strong>r method stated in <strong>the</strong> sailing<br />

instructions, no later than <strong>the</strong> starting signal for <strong>the</strong> heat<br />

two heats before <strong>the</strong>ir own.<br />

(b) The course area shall be defined in <strong>the</strong> sailing instructions<br />

and posted on <strong>the</strong> official notice board no later than 10<br />

minutes before <strong>the</strong> starting signal for <strong>the</strong> first heat. A<br />
