Fix GTEC T-Bar Cross T TC1200 to GTEC Primary
Main T TP3700 at typical 400mm centres to
form grid pattern. Push-fit until clip is locked
into position, with the triangle shape (spring
side) of the clip visible on each side.
To remove GTEC T-Bar Cross T TC1200,
press on end of connector clip and
pull out (may require some slight
twisting).

Position the boards with long edges parallel to the GTEC
T-Bar Primary Main T TP3700, with adjoining edges lightly
butted. Board edge must be positioned at the centre of the
GTEC T-Bar Cross T TC1200 section, staggered by half a
board length whenever possible.
Screw fix the plasterboard at 230mm max centres with
drywall GTEC Self Tapping screws on the GTEC T-Bar Cross T
TC1200, 10mm minimum from the edge of the board.
Screw fix the cut edges of the plasterboard at 150mm max
centres to the T-Bar. Also screw fix all perimeter boards to
the GTEC T-Bar Edge Channel TE300 at 150mm centres.
When using double layer plasterboard, the first layer is fixed
as step 5 and the second layer should be fixed with all
joints staggered in relation to the first layer.
