Fix GTEC T-Bar Cross T TC1200 to GTEC Primary<br />

Main T TP3700 at typical 400mm centres to<br />

form grid pattern. Push-fit until clip is locked<br />

into position, with the triangle shape (spring<br />

side) of the clip visible on each side.<br />

To remove GTEC T-Bar Cross T TC1200,<br />

press on end of connector clip and<br />

pull out (may require some slight<br />

twisting).<br />

Position the boards with long edges parallel to the GTEC<br />

T-Bar Primary Main T TP3700, with adjoining edges lightly<br />

butted. Board edge must be positioned at the centre of the<br />

GTEC T-Bar Cross T TC1200 section, staggered by half a<br />

board length whenever possible.<br />

Screw fix the plasterboard at 230mm max centres with<br />

drywall GTEC Self Tapping screws on the GTEC T-Bar Cross T<br />

TC1200, 10mm minimum from the edge of the board.<br />

Screw fix the cut edges of the plasterboard at 150mm max<br />

centres to the T-Bar. Also screw fix all perimeter boards to<br />

the GTEC T-Bar Edge Channel TE300 at 150mm centres.<br />

When using double layer plasterboard, the first layer is fixed<br />

as step 5 and the second layer should be fixed with all<br />

joints staggered in relation to the first layer.<br />
