Cut the GTEC Dryliner Channel RD1 5mm<br />

shorter than the length of the ceiling required<br />

and locate the GTEC Dryliner Channel RD1 into<br />

the GTEC Dryliner Track.<br />

Where required insert mineral wool batts<br />

above the framing ensuring that the mineral<br />

wool forms one continuous lining.<br />

Fix plasterboards with the long edges at right<br />

angles to the GTEC Dryliner Channels. Screw-fix<br />

the boards to the GTEC Dryliner Channels<br />

at 230mm maximum centres and 150mm<br />

maximum centres at perimeters and the cut<br />

ends of board.<br />

With two layers of plasterboard, stagger all the<br />

joints between the layers. For the typical single<br />

layer and two-layer plasterboard layouts, see<br />

diagrams overleaf.<br />
