Hysterosalpingography (HSG)<br />
Thurmond-Rösch Hysterocath®<br />
Used to access the uterine cavity for HSG <strong>and</strong>/or introduction of catheters or other<br />
instruments up to 9.0 Fr in diameter. It is positioned at the cervix with the distal<br />
acorn tip engaging the external os. The movable cup permits adjustments to<br />
accommodate differences in anatomy <strong>and</strong> provides an efficient seal to the cervix.<br />
External suction is then applied to the vacuum port to maintain its position.<br />

device against the cervix, with the distal acorn tip engaging the external os, is<br />
maintained by grasping the cervix with a tenaculum <strong>and</strong> stabilizing the tenaculum<br />
with the movable bracket.<br />
