Archimandrite Gregorios (Tatsis), SOT ‘06, of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America was<br />

recently elected ruling bishop of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of the U.S.A. On<br />

Tuesday, November 27, he was consecrated to the episcopacy, becoming Titular Bishop of Nyssa, with<br />

laying on of hands by His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios of America. Co-consecrators were His<br />

Eminence Archbishop Anthony of the Ukrainian Orthodox of the U.S.A., His Eminence Metropolitan<br />

Alexios of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta, His Eminence Metropolitan Savas of the Greek<br />

Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh, and His Grace, Bishop Daniel of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of<br />

the U.S.A.<br />

Bishop Gregory was then enthroned as the fourth ruling bishop of the American Carpatho-Russian<br />

Orthodox Church of the U.S.A. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Holy Cross Greek<br />

Orthodox School of Theology in 2006.<br />
