To EHS Juniors and Their Families:
All New Hampshire 11th graders will participate in the New England
Common Assessment Program, or NECAP. The assessment includes tests
of reading, writing, mathematics and science.
Epping High School will test its students on Wednesday, October 10 th,
Thursday October 11 th, and Friday October 12 th . Testing on all three
days will take place during Blocks 1 and 2.
Participating in state testing is not optional; by law we are required to
ensure that all students are assessed. Therefore, students who fail to report
to NECAP testing on time will be considered to be cutting a class and may
earn a Saturday detention as a result. All students who miss NECAP tests
for any reason will be required to report to make up sessions later in the
week.
We have shared our schedule with SST, so Juniors who attend SST during
Block 2 will not go to SST on testing days.
