Location: On top <strong>of</strong> the Janiculum, <strong>Rome</strong>’s highest<br />
hill, <strong>in</strong> a garden <strong>of</strong> Roman p<strong>in</strong>es, <strong>of</strong>fer<strong>in</strong>g a spectacular<br />
view <strong>of</strong> the city and the surround<strong>in</strong>g hills. <strong>The</strong> campus is<br />
walk<strong>in</strong>g distance to <strong>Rome</strong>’s historic center.<br />
Type: Private, <strong>in</strong>dependent, not for pr<strong>of</strong>it, liberal arts<br />
university founded on the premise that <strong>Rome</strong> itself is<br />
an ideal classroom.<br />
Focus: <strong>American</strong> degree blend<strong>in</strong>g the liberal arts with<br />
career preparation and elements <strong>of</strong> the Italian/European<br />
classical tradition <strong>of</strong> the humanities.<br />

<strong>of</strong> 19 libraries <strong>in</strong> <strong>Rome</strong>: 10,000 catalogued electronic<br />
resources and e-books; and 1,200 DVDs and videos. It<br />
holds 15,000 volumes <strong>in</strong> its own beautiful two-story villa<br />
with lovely gardens, all with wireless Internet access.<br />
Technology: Ma<strong>in</strong> general purpose computer lab with<br />
55 PCs and several pr<strong>in</strong>t stations; PC teach<strong>in</strong>g classrooms;<br />
Mac-based multimedia laboratory; 14 library<br />
workstations; wireless Internet access throughout the<br />
campus, outside <strong>in</strong> our gardens, on our terraces and <strong>in</strong><br />
