Art History<br />
I fell <strong>in</strong> love with <strong>Rome</strong> when I first visited. I applied to<br />
<strong>AUR</strong>, was accepted, and came <strong>in</strong> a heartbeat. Study<strong>in</strong>g<br />
art history <strong>in</strong> <strong>Rome</strong> has been the best experience<br />
<strong>of</strong> my life and <strong>Rome</strong> as a classroom is priceless. I<br />
have had many on-site courses, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g one on<br />
Modern Art that <strong>in</strong>volved a trip to Paris and another<br />
on Renaissance Art that went to Florence. I have<br />
worked as a guide for a company that shows <strong>Rome</strong>’s<br />
art to visitors; volunteered with German archeologists<br />
<strong>in</strong> <strong>Rome</strong>; participated <strong>in</strong> Harvard’s Model UN<br />
conference <strong>in</strong> Boston; contributed to Remus, <strong>AUR</strong>’s<br />
literary magaz<strong>in</strong>e; and enrolled <strong>in</strong> a summer course at<br />
Sotheby’s Institute <strong>of</strong> Art <strong>in</strong> London.<br />
