Service Description: EDON Place<br />
Women’s Domestic Violence Service<br />
provides crisis accommodation and<br />
support to women and children<br />
escaping/living with domestic<br />
violence as well as referrals to<br />
other agencies. Assistance with<br />
Domestic Violence Protection Order<br />
applications and Court support is<br />
provided as well as a rural outreach<br />
program. Two 12 week personal<br />
development groups are run each<br />
year, each in two 6 week blocks.<br />
EDON Place Women’s Domestic<br />
Violence Service is a crisis service<br />
and does not provide long term<br />
counselling.<br />
A small amount of Emergency<br />
Relief money is also available.<br />
Appointments are essential and only<br />
available Tuesday, Wednesday and<br />
