Service Description: EDON Place
Women’s Domestic Violence Service
provides crisis accommodation and
support to women and children
escaping/living with domestic
violence as well as referrals to
other agencies. Assistance with
Domestic Violence Protection Order
applications and Court support is
provided as well as a rural outreach
program. Two 12 week personal
development groups are run each
year, each in two 6 week blocks.
EDON Place Women’s Domestic
Violence Service is a crisis service
and does not provide long term
counselling.
A small amount of Emergency
Relief money is also available.
Appointments are essential and only
available Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday between 9.00 and 12.00
