Service Description: A sport where<br />
people of all ages and abilities can<br />
compete on road or track. There are<br />
two seasons in cycling: road and<br />
track. Track season commences in late<br />
September and finishes late March.<br />
During this period, track racing is held<br />
at the velodrome each Wednesday<br />
night with nominations at 7pm and<br />
racing at 7.30pm. Training on the<br />
velodrome in track season with track<br />
bikes is held each Monday night:<br />
juniors 5.30pm - 6.30 pm, and seniors<br />
from 6.30pm - 7.30pm. A barbecue<br />
and canteen operates for the<br />
convenience of spectators and riders.<br />
Road season commences in April,<br />
through until September. Training in<br />
road season, using road bikes, is held<br />
