Service Description: School Based
Policing is a proactive policing role
and a integral part of the school
student service team to promote and
develop positive relationships within
the school community, to contribute
to student understanding of the law
through class room presentations
or one on one meetings on various
topics including driver education, to
support young persons experiencing
personal difficulties and to attend,
where appropriate, to police related
matters within the school community.

Service Description: The Safety
House Programme is a communitybased
and-funded programme with a
network of easily identifiable houses
and businesses for use by children
whenever they feel unsafe whilst in
the community. A Safety House can
be a house, a shop or a business.
The programme also aims to play a
proactive role in community safety,
by providing safer neighbourhoods
for our children and personal safety
education programmes within
participating schools.

Service Description: Counselling
Programs offer therapeutic
counselling provided by qualified and
experienced counsellors. Services
include relationship, family, group
and individual counselling, working
with children, adolescents and adults,
school counselling, early intervention
services, community education and
employee assistance programs. A
free family support service for parents
and carers of young people aged 0 –
17 years is offered in the Kolan and
Isis Shires.
Pre-marriage Education is offered to
all couples from any denomination
planning to be married.
Community Care Services offer
support to frail aged clients, young
people with a disability and their
carers. Services include Aged Care
Packages, Domestic Assistance,
Social Support, Allied Health
counselling and education services,
Respite, Transport, Assessment, Home
Maintenance.
Home Assist Secure offers assistance
and information to people aged over
