MAHARISHI AWARD TO PRINCIPALS
On this Occasion “Best Principal Award” in the category of Senior Secondary and Secondary Schools for
their outstanding contributions in the field of Education and Development of their schools were also announced.
The following names were announced for Maharishi Award for their outstanding contribution in the field of
Education and Development of their school with a running trophy and cash awards:
Senior Secondary School:

Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, India in Collaboration with International Foundation of
Consciousness Based Education, USA, 5 Days Professional Development Programme on Maharishi’s
Consciousness Based Education for Principals & senior Teachers of Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools
from 15 November to 19 November 2010 and 21 November to 25 November 2010 at Maharishi Centre
for Educational Excellence, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India is being Organised. Out of total 7 days
conference, two days will be for official work and five days will be dedicated to Maharishi Consciousness
based Education training.
From International Foundation Dr. Laura Ticciati, Vice-President-International Foundation of Consciousness
Based Education, USA will be the Course Director and Ms. Annie Balkema, Renowned Educationist, will be the
Co-course Director. From India Shri C. D. Sharma, Director Education, Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group
and Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya will lead the
course. The Participants will be Principals & Senior Teachers of MVM Schools Group representing 150 Schools
from 16 states of India.
