Gustomer Demand and Demographics - ln light of the 2008 national economic slow down and the reduced consumption
experience in FY 2009, management conducted a review in FY 2009 of water and sewer regional consumption and demographic
trends. The review examined the various factors affecting water demand and the underlying demographics in the District and the
region to assess whether there was a corresponding effect on water demand and identifiT the experiences of similar eastem U.S.
systems. While there are various factors that may impact water demand, we reviewed a few of them as highlighted below.
