QSA 210
Two Way “Line Array” Speaker
The QSA-210 is a two way passive line array speaker featuring
Two 10” neodymium magnet woofers and Two 1” exit
(1.7” voice coils) neodymium magnet HF drivers. A single
QSA 210 cabinet handles 500w RMS at 8 ohms and delivers
127dB SPL. The system is based on a totally new technology:The
Isophasic Plane Wave Generator. The Isophasic
Plane Wave Generator utilizes path length equalization
technology, which generates planar wave fronts over a wide
operating band. The higher frequencies pass thru as rays,
while at lower frequencies the refractor lens represent a
close spaced array of diffraction slots. The result is a line
shaped source evenly distributed within the cabinet as well
as within the linearray. It allows high power and precise line
arrayperformance to be generated from a column of
biamped (a minimum of Six QS 210) cabinets just 60 cm (
QA Line Array System
The QA108 Line Array System is QUBE's latest development
in the growing demand for compact and
portable professional line arrays. Both the QA108
passive and the QA108A powered models feature
extraordinary power output, clarity and flexibility to
deliver high quality audio reproduction in attractive,
compact, easy to handle and affordable systems.
QA108 is equipped with a 8” neodymium magnet
woofer and a 150 mm (6") length neodymium Heil
tweeter (PDT- Pleated Diaphragm Tweeter) coupled
to a short horn having a cylindrical projection with
10°V x 100°H dispersion. The PDT tweeter is an
extremely high quality high frequency component,
which its advantages can be summarized as:
Multiple fold design providing increased mobility
transformation of the air, this ensures enormous
dynamics, incredible transient response and high
SPL that's far superior to that of any ribbon tweeters
and compression drivers.
An increase of the efficiency of the high frequencies
with a radiation surface that's 4 times the size
of a conventional tweeter or a compression driver.
A distortion factor that's 10 times less than a conventional
HF unit, delivering sound quality typical
of high-end studio monitors.
Cylindrical projecting surface: the PDT technology
is directly applicable for Line Array systems, with
total coherence of the wave front without the use
of any waveguide.
The PDT contributes an enormous added value to
QA108 LineArrays, resulting in a cabinet enclosure
with sound quality, timbre, definition and clarity that
is simply unsurpassable.
The QA108 compact enclosures have a trapezoidal
shape with an angle of 10V°, and are constructed
with 12 mm. (1/2") Baltic birch plywood and finished
with scratch and scuff resistant black paint. The
Q 208
Two-way Full Range or
Bi-amp Speaker System,
Dual 8” Woofer - 1” Driver
The Qube Q 208 2-way speaker is compact, lightweight
and easy to handle. Yet despite its small size, it lacks nothing
in power. The slim line cabinet provides an astonishing
130.5 db SPL from such a small enclosure, placing it in the
same performance league as systems with much larger
dimensions. The dual 8” Woofer matching with a high frequency
1.4” voice coil driver and horn provide sound comparable
to that of a single source, providing the presence
and definition typical of coaxial systems. The result is an
extremely flat frequency response between 65Hz and 18
kHz without coloring. The internal crossover features full
range or bi-amp selector. Featuring Eight M - 6 fly points
and a horizontal angle of 80°, the QUBE Q 208 excels for
numerous permanent installations, including under balcony
mounting in theatres, Houses of Worship as well as
portable audio applications. On stage, QUBE Q 208 thanks
to its multiple cabinet angles construction allows the use as
a stage monitor or as a near field front fill speaker. The Q
208 is constructed with 12 mm. (1/2”) Baltic birch plywood
and is finished in durable scratch and scuff resistant black
paint.
The QUBE Q 110 features a bass reflex cabinet design with
a 10” neodymium magnet woofer and a 1.4” voice coil HF
driver coupled to a 80°H x 50°V Rotatable horn. The internal
crossover features full range or bi-amp selector. Superb
sound reproduction, high SPL capabilities and the ratio of
overall performance to the cabinet size were main project criteria
for the Q 110. The Q110 is ideal for sound reinforcement
in nightclubs, pubs, theatres, as well as Houses of Worship.
Thanks to its multi-angle cabinet construction the Q110 can
also be used as a floor monitor. The enclosure tuning has
been optimized to provide maximum high/mid efficiency
along with sufficient low frequency extension. For applications
that require additional low frequency response the use
of a QUBE sub is suggested. The cabinet is constructed
with 18 mm (5/8”) Baltic birch plywood that is also internally
braced to prevent undesired resonance and is finished
with durable scratch and scuff resistant black paint. Eight M
- 6 fly points allow for vertical or horizontal mounting.
SP 27
Digital Processor
The SP27 are powerful DSP based audio processors,
ideally suited for installation and touring applications,
where they combine the functions of a multitude of conventional
products in a compact 1Uunit with extensive
remote control capabilities. To achieve this, the units
have up to two inputs and six outputs which can be configured
in a selection of basic crossover modes - 2 x 2
way + 2 Aux; 2 x 3 way; 1 x 4 way + 2 Aux; and 1 x 6
way (as applicable to io/o configurations). They also offer
a "free assign" mode, which allows completely flexible
routing of any output from any combination of inputs.
Each input has a gain control, variable delay and a further
eight bands of fully parametric equalisation. The
parametric filter bands have a large selection of different
filter types available, including shelving.
Each output has a gain control, variable delay, high and
lowpass crossover filters, nine bands of fully parametric
equalisation, polarity switching and, additionally, a fully
featured limiter, and a final clip limiter. The crossover filters
offer slopes of up to 48dB/Octave, with a variety of
responses available. RS232 interface may also be fitted
to allow remote memory recalls using simple switch closure
apparatus.
Security lock-out is available for all controls.
The SP27 are also equipped with AES/EBUdigital inputs
and include a sample rate converter, capable of accepting
anything from 32kHz up tp 192kHz.
