Eddie Curtis set himself a<br />

challenge: <strong>to</strong> create new<br />

works on a scale outside<br />

of his normal working<br />

practice. He has made<br />

large hand-built and wheel<br />

thrown works in both<br />

s<strong>to</strong>neware and porcelain.<br />

Joining Eddie’s work in the<br />

gallery is Margaret Curtis’<br />

unique collection of pots,<br />

many of which will pay<br />

homage <strong>to</strong> the ceremony<br />

of tea.<br />

Alongside these new works<br />

Eddie is showing a small<br />

collection of s<strong>to</strong>neware<br />

vessels which were bisque<br />

fired for him in Anagama<br />

kilns by five world class<br />

international wood firing<br />

potters: Shozo Michikawa,<br />

Pascal Geoffroy, Rizu<br />

Takehashi, Linda de Nil,<br />
