Contents DFK International is a major international association of independent accounting firms and business advisers that has been meeting the needs of clients with interests in more than one country for nearly 50 years. Our association now has over 300 offices across the world. The association is divided into three regions – The Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, Middle East and Africa. Each region appoints a Regional Vice President who is a member of the Board and also the Executive Committee. Regional Vice Presidents have a particular responsibility for ensuring members comply with DFK’s Membership Criteria. An Executive Director, employed by the Board, is based in the DFK International Executive Office in London and is responsible to the President and the Board of Directors for all administration and development of the international association. In larger countries of the world where there are several DFK Member Firms, DFK has developed National Groups to respond to local clients’ needs. A Francophone Group has been formed to support, and encourage co-operation between, member firms that use French as a key business language. Each DFK member firm is an independent legal entity in its own country. A grouping of members who include DFK in their firm’s name are classified as network firms in compliance with EU and IFAC requirements. The association is a non-profit making incorporated organisation (Vereniging) in the Netherlands and its Executive Office is located in London.
