scientists realized that, you know, hundreds of them died. Hundreds of
scientists involved with radiation died because of their cavalier exposure
to radiation thinking, you know, it’s invisible so it’s safe.
Madam Curie’s notebooks from the late 19 th
century are still too radioactive to be handled
without protection. They will continue to be
until at least 3511.
