.125" and .180" minimum wall of carbon steel per A.S.M.E. Specifications SA-178
Gr. A. The main steam drum is 60" diameter having a shell thickness of 3.382"
minimum, made of carbon steel plate per A.S.M.E. Specifications SA-212 Gr B. with
a straight cylinder length of 29'- 0" and 3 3/8" minimum thickness. True elliptical
manheads on each end. The lower drum is 42" inside diameter having a shell
thickness of 2.424" minimum, made of carbon steel plate per A.S.M.E.
specifications SA-212 B. with a straight cylinder length of 31'-4" and 2 7/16"
minimum thickness. True elliptical manheads on each end.
