No More Fear of the Bimah!
On Sunday, March 30, twelve congregants took
part in a program designed to make them more
comfortable during services. The “Facing Your Fear
of the Bimah” presentations were conducted by
Amy Graham, Jack Zigon, Bev Dickson, Rich
Nutinsky, and Andy Szabo, under the guidance of
Rabbi Robbins. They shared their time, knowledge
and enthusiasm for the rituals of Judaism without
hesitation. With the gentle prodding of Vice
President Frances Sheehan and the support of
President Doris Elofer, as well as the cooperation of
Michael Muderick, Joan Joseph and Steve Smith,
the program ran smoothly and provided a needed
learning session for our congregation.
The success of this program is just another
example of the way in which the various segments
of our community come together for our common
betterment.
When you see the participants using their
new skills during services, you can be assured that
you will be able to gain those same skills in the
future. Thanks to all who participated.
