This rig is based on the Freide & Goldman JU2000E design with these features:
• Capable of operations in water depths up to 400 ft
• Outfitted for 2 million pound hook load capacity
• Equipped to drill wells in high pressure/high temperature
environments up to 35,000 ft
• Capable of extending cantilever reach out to 75 ft
• Able to operate in the harsh environment of the North Sea
(excluding Norway)
• Outfitted with wrap around personnel accommodations with
capacity for 140 in one- and two-person rooms
• Equipped with offline stand building for increased
operational efficiency
• Capable of maximum drilling variable deck load of
14,300 kips
• Enhanced with a bulk storage capacity of 18,000 cuft
• Equipped with 7,500 psi mud system with 3 each 2200 hp
