Remember in Prayer<br />
As members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> parish faith community, it is our<br />
responsibility to remember both in concrete and<br />
spiritual ways those who cannot celebrate with us<br />
each week because <strong>the</strong>y are ill. Those who are sick in<br />
turn, remember all <strong>of</strong> us daily in <strong>the</strong>ir prayers and in <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
sufferings. We experience many blessings because <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong>ir remembering us. And so...please remember in your<br />

A Prayer for <strong>the</strong> Armed Forces<br />
Almighty God, stretch forth Your mighty arm to<br />
streng<strong>the</strong>n and protect <strong>the</strong> men and<br />
women <strong>of</strong> our Armed Forces. As <strong>the</strong>y<br />
face <strong>the</strong> myriad <strong>of</strong> challenges and decisions<br />
that each day is destined to bring,<br />
may <strong>the</strong>y be anchored by <strong>the</strong>ir faith,<br />
protected by Your presence and comforted<br />
by <strong>the</strong> knowledge that <strong>the</strong>y are loved by You and by<br />
this community <strong>of</strong> faith. Grant that, meeting danger with<br />
courage, and all occasions with discipline loyalty, <strong>the</strong>y<br />
may truly serve <strong>the</strong> cause <strong>of</strong> justice and peace to <strong>the</strong> honor<br />
<strong>of</strong> your <strong>holy</strong> name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.<br />

How can we say "thank you" to <strong>the</strong> God who has given<br />
His only Son to us What can we give back in return A<br />
life <strong>of</strong> stewardship is <strong>the</strong> only way to truly show our love<br />
and appreciation to God. A life <strong>of</strong> stewardship is a life <strong>of</strong><br />
giving back time, talent and treasure to God.<br />
