Purpose of the role<br />
Providing assistance with regards to accounting services required by the<br />
Fiduciary Services Group clients.<br />
Key Responsibilities<br />
• Book keeping portfolio of clients administered by the Fiduciary Services<br />
Group from source documentation and to agreed deadlines.<br />
• Reconciling of client bank and loan accounts to within established operating<br />
guidelines and the reconciling of inter client loan balances.<br />
• Reconciling of investment holding nominal balances to within established<br />
operating guidelines.<br />
• Potential to assist with the preparation of management and annual year end<br />
accounts as and when directed and to agreed deadlines.<br />
• Liaising with the fee earners, team members and third parties as necessary<br />
to ensure that queries and issues are identified, flagged and dealt with on a<br />
timely basis.<br />
• Monitoring of team specific book keeping exception reports.<br />
General Responsibilities<br />
• Assist with the preparation of fee quotes in relation to expected book<br />
keeping costs and thereafter to contribute to the analysis of actual costs<br />
against budget.<br />
• Undertake ad-hoc jobs as and when directed.<br />
• Keep up to date with technology and business tools relevant to the role.<br />

• Manage workload effectively, proactively communicate the status of<br />
workload to senior management as appropriate and assist other team<br />
members when uneven workloads arise.<br />
• Compliance with the Firm’s internal policies, team specific procedures and<br />
operating guidelines as may be amended from time to time.<br />
• Promote teamwork and strong relationships with other immediate team<br />
members and Group Services to help achieve personal, team and group<br />
objectives.<br />
Competencies<br />
• A book keeping or accounting qualification (AIB / CAT / ACCA)<br />
• Strong academic's, ideally educated to degree level<br />
• Experience in a similar role<br />
