SUPSALV continued to assist CNIC management team with maintenance and logistics.<br />

SUPSALV received direction from Plans Chief at UAC to fully de-mobilize and begin<br />

decontamination of SUPSALV skimmers. SUPSALV began coordination with local Task Force<br />

commanders.<br />

The total SUPSALV Oil Containment Boom in GOMEX was 98,000′ with 38,925′ of boom still<br />

deployed (14,135′ identified as beyond economical repair). GPC personnel continued to clean<br />

and inspect Oil Containment Boom.<br />

The seven Class V Skimmers remained in port/ on board barges assigned ICP Mobile Task<br />

Forces during passage of the storms. SUPSALV was waiting on decontamination of all<br />

skimmers. GPC personnel transferred unused Oil Containment Systems to Gulfport.<br />

GPC boom crew personnel in Venice conducted Oil Containment Boom repair/recovery at East<br />

Bay.<br />

In Slidell, the Class V Skimmers and other SUPSALV equipment awaited transport to Gulfport.<br />

The Class V Skimmers, and other SUPSALV equipment in Grand Isle, were being<br />

decontaminated, inventoried, and repackaged for further transport.<br />

OSV MV Renee, with the Class XI Skimmer System, remained in Gulfport awaiting direction.<br />

Thursday and Friday, 19–20 August 2010<br />

SUPSALV OSR equipment and 90 personnel were deployed and/or staged throughout GOMEX<br />

from Pensacola west to Grand Isle.<br />

SUPSALV continued coordinating response operations from Gulfport (at State Pier) as directed<br />

by the USCG FOSC.<br />

SUPSALV continued to assist CNIC management team with maintenance, logistics, and<br />

demobilization.<br />

The total SUPSALV Oil Containment Boom in GOMEX was 98,000′ with 38,420 ′ of boom still<br />

deployed (16,500′ identified as beyond economical repair). GPC personnel continued to clean<br />

and inspect Oil Containment Boom at Gulfport.<br />

The seven Class V Skimmers remained in port/ on board barges with assigned ICP Mobile Task<br />

Forces coordinating decontamination of assigned skimmers.<br />

Venice GPC personnel conducted Oil Containment Boom repair/recovery.<br />
