Grand Isle deployed SUPSALV skimming equipment, but no oil was encountered.<br />

SUPSALV continued to demobilize OSVs AHTS Vanguard and Vantage but held the VOSS<br />

systems in area.<br />

OSV MV Renee, with the Class XI Skimmer System, remained in Gulfport awaiting further ICP<br />

tasking orders.<br />

SUPSALV OSR equipment and 126 personnel were positioned throughout Pensacola, Mobile,<br />

Bayou La Batre, Pascagoula, Gulfport, Ship Island, Slidell, Venice, and Port Fourchon/Grand<br />

Isle.<br />

SUPSALV continued coordinating operations from Gulfport (at State Pier) positioning,<br />

maintaining, and operating SUPSALV OSR equipment assets as directed by the USCG FOSC.<br />

SUPSALV continued to assist the CNIC management team.<br />

The total SUPSALV Oil Containment Boom in GOMEX to date was 98,000′ with 56,700′ of<br />

boom still deployed.<br />

Note: Total oil recovered to date: VOSS offshore - 21,176 barrels and near-shore - 2029<br />

barrels.<br />

Pecos barge, with two Class V Skimmers and four spud/jack-up barges with seven Class V<br />

Skimmers on board (assigned to near-shore Task Force under ICP Mobile), operated between<br />

Pascagoula and Pensacola as directed. No oil was encountered.<br />

OSV Bayou Bee serviced Class V Skimmers in ICP Mobile area.<br />

GPC personnel with OSV Caspian at Venice got underway to Breton Island to service Oil<br />

Containment Boom but were again unable to do so due to the weather.<br />

In Slidell, the Class V Skimmers and other SUPSALV equipment remained on standby.<br />

Grand Isle deployed skimming equipment, but no oil was encountered.<br />

systems in area.<br />
