SEQUENTIAL EXCISION:<br />
This method <strong>in</strong>volves daily removal of loose debris<br />
dur<strong>in</strong>g hydrotherapy, coupled with repeated sharp<br />
excision of escharwith guarded sk<strong>in</strong> graft knives once or<br />
twice weekly. Ketam<strong>in</strong>eanesthesia is sufficient for major<br />
sessions.<br />
This method may supplement conservative/enzymatic<br />
approach and is suitable for burns of face palms, sole<br />
and per<strong>in</strong>eum and burns on other parts of the body<br />
whose depth is uncerta<strong>in</strong>.<br />
