AGGRESSIVE DEBRIDEMENT: Aggressive debridement is the excision or avulsion of devitalized tissue superficial to structures capable of supporting a skin graft. Excision of devitalized tissue can be divided into three varieties: Simple excision. Sequential excision. Tangential excision.
